Duuuude...ending to Kingdom Hearts.... ::dies:: I need to get a PS2 and that game now.... And FFIX and a few others while I'm at it. Maybe a Gamecube and Ocarina of Time/Master Quest.
I really need to update more often, don't I? I'm working on a new layout, which is part of the reason I've been putting it off.
There's something about being poor that just plain stinks. ::grumbles:: My food budget is severely limited for now.
In other news...Merry Belated Christmas and Happy Belated New Year!
My webmanga has been up and running for about a month and a half now. ^_^ I'm trying to stay regular with it, which is kinda' hard, being a busy student and all, but it's fun. I'm also working on improving my cging abilities, and currently have a commission (sold on eBay). I've also got the Cafepress store, which needs to sell more stuff. And now there's a DeviantArt site that can sell prints, too. Feel free to visit. ^_^ (links on left)
Hope everyone has a happy 2003!
::sigh, slump:: Two finals down, three more to go. At least one of them is an art project instead of a bubble-sheet/written test. I hate written tests. Except the editing test today wasn't too bad. Just a bit annoying in places. ::goes off to work on art project for tomorrow:: Wish me luck!
Well, one final down, four more to go. ::sigh:: I think I'll pass the class I just took the final for, at least. ^_^ I got a 91%! Now to fret over the D&C final.
I tell you, it's weird when you have a 5-minute dream in the middle of Church History. ::sigh:: I need to stop staying up late so I stop falling asleep in class. ::sigh again:: Annoying 8am job....
Ace bandages are a beautiful invention. ::glomps whoever invented ACE bandages:: My ankle is all but giving out on me, after 4 days of 3 hours walking to do the Room Survey on campus, and getting people annoyed at me for peeking in their private offices and in the middle of classes and conferences just to count heads. And now my poor abused leg is giving out on me. I'm surprised I even made it down the hill to get home from classes today. ::sigh of relief::
Enough complaining now. I've got the next Shadowscapes page up and ready to go, and while I'm not actually drawing the next page yet, I've got it planned out. I need to get through these two papers I've got due first. ::sigh:: Thank goodness Friday and Saturday are Reading Days. ::wanders off, pondering if she can sell back any of her textbooks::
::sigh:: I hate being broke. ::grumbles::
Not that anyone actually reads this.... I've got a Cafepress store for my art here. I'm also auctioning a print of my wolf-girl character from my manga on ebay here. I've also got a paypal donations button on my art site, if those of you who actually read this decide you can help. I'll come up with something to reward those of you who donate. ^_^
Tic Tac croquet basketball? ::shakes head:: Sometimes I have funky dreams. ::sigh:: Why can't I have any of the good, sane ones anymore? Guess college will do that to you.
Completely redid and uploaded my artwork site. I like the new layout. It uses frames, but it's prettier and takes up half the space the old layout took. Which is good on an art site. Yay for optimization. The most recent page of my Shadowscapes manga that I needed to tweak is done (but it still looks kinda' cheap and cheesy to me. Oh well. I'll get better as I go along), and now I'll I need to do is finish piecing together the site for it and I'll have a nifty pretty manga site to link to. ^_^
I'm also looking into a Cafepress store or two (one for the manga, one for my art page). It looks nifty, and I've got some upcoming work that would look good on merchandise. ^_^ Now I just need to attract buyers, once I'm done with this new set of art I'm working on to put on stuff to sell. Wish me luck!
::dizzy:: Yay for donating blood. I feel like I'm drunk or something today. My brain has been short-circuiting and I'm lacking energy. ::sigh:: And I donated two days ago. ::falls over:: Ok, going to eat red meat now....
Happy Halloween! (even if it is a day late) I figured I should post again on my blog, since it's been rather neglected as of late. ::sigh:: Poor blog.
We had a fun party at the Posse's HQ (aka our apartment). It started at 5 MST, and we spent most (almost all) of the party watching Jungle wa Itsumo Hale nochi Guu (aka Trippy Trippy Jungle). Pam dressed as Weda, Heather dressed as Hale, Alethea dressed as Guu, I dressed as Clive, Athena dressed as Seichi, and Rachel (one of Pam's roommates) dressed as Tomoyo. We had a big bowl of candy, and made some pokute-shaped rolls (mm...rolls....). It's a shame we didn't get powdered jelly doughnuts to be manda. We also ordered pizza from Little Ceasars. We've still got about half of it left. The party ended aroudn 11:30 or so, when people were starting to get tired. We also had a mini photo shoot. It's kinda' sad 'cause no little kids came around trick-or-treating, but I guess it makes sense when one lives in the middle of student apartments (everyone's broke), and the only kids who really know we're here are the Bishopric's children. ::shrug:: Maybe next year.
I borrowed Riven from Rachel and beat it in two days. Yay! Now I can actually say I've played Riven. Next stop: Myst III: Exile. ^_^ It's rather interesting, but all the disc-switching got a bit annoying. Trippy ending. ::shrug::
I'm still working on getting my Shadowscapes manga ready to go. I've got the first three prologue pages drawn, and colored one of the title pages (for Chapter 1). I still need to prep the second two of the prologue pages, color the cover page, and start drawing pages for Chapter 1. This, while still trying to do all my schoolwork. At least I'm off Academic Warning now. ::sigh of relief::
Mmm...those rolls taste good when reheated in the microwave....
And apparently I'm a sneaky villain.
Yay for webpage coding.
I've got most of the site set up for my manga Shadowscapes. I just need to finish drawing the first set of pages that I plan on posting as an introduction to the story. Then I need to scan said drawings, and set them up into manga page format. Then I need to code those into pages for my site. Then I need to actually sign up for a page (probably with Keenspace), and then once I can upload everything, it'll be ready for everybody's viewing pleasure. ^_^ I'll let you guys know when I'ts ready.
Yay! S.A.R.U. is up and running! With forums! And fun stuff! Even if you aren't a Provo Otaku, feel free to join in the fun. ^_^ Just watch out for Raoul. He doesn't like to share.
Meh. Was looking at stuff online, and found a site for a group that's pulling together a bunch of people to cosplay Saiyuki characters at Otakon 2003. Heheh. Posers. Well, they'll only really be posers if they get a jeep. We had the jeep first. ^_^ Here's our con photos. All the pictures of the saiyuki characters are of us, mostly. ^_^ And our group at Otakon 2003 is going to be better. But I won't say why, 'cause that's a secret. Come to the con and see. We're the ones with the PowerWheels jeep. ~_^
Yay! My computer has a working processor again! Now I can use my own comp to do stuff! 'Course, this also means I have to be responsible taking care of stuff for people now. ~_^
Hee hee! Our friend Pam taught us how to play poker last night (because Athena needed to learn so she can cosplay Hakkai better, 'cause he always wins at poker). To make it fun, we were betting items from anime, comics, novels, etc. I won most of the bishonen. ^_^
There. Quite a haul. ^_^ Now if only I can win Sesshoumaru in a card game....
Well, now that I've got a bit more time to talk in a blog post.... In case you're wondering, no I didn't archive the blah green blog layout. It was ugly. Not hideous, just ugly. The colors were nice and all...come on, my website is in shades of green. It's just that the fact that it was all just a table - no pictures, no fancy fonts, just Times New Roman and some simple green boxes - made it ugly. Something of an eyesore. Not worthy of my blog. But it's okay now 'cause I have a nice new pretty blog. It just took me a while to figure out where to upload the images to to get it all to work, or it'd have been up sooner. ^_^
But enough blathering about the ugly green thing. Yay for new layouts! I'll see how long I have the patience to keep this one up before my insane motivation and desire to be creative drive me to make a new one (Inuyasha, of course). ^_^
So. I added a link to my roomie's blog in the links list to the left. She's the one at Bardic Musings. And she needs to get her website updated some more so you can actually go to the various subsections of the Citadel. But then, I need to work more on my website too. Like finishing images and linkage and stuff in the Garden, and setting up Visons and Dreams and Power and Memory. It's going to look spiffy when they're done. Yay for frames!
Anyway, fun stuff tonight. FHE, but we aren't sure exactly when or where. Eh. We'll figure it out. And my roomies are prolly taping Everwood if we're not back by 8. ::whistles:: That show's filmed in Utah ( ::bounce:: ), and Ephraim (the main teenage boy) is an Otaku! Will wonders never cease.
Yay! New layout! Got everything to work. It's so pretty. ::drools:: All mine. ^_^
And here's where I complain about the annoyances of making a blog layout.... ^_^
It's annoying. I get the whole thing set up nicely - going cold-turkey at layers in PaintShop Pro, too - and suddenly fonts disappear and the only way to get them back is to restart. Except I've got some nice downloads going and don't want to interrupt them. Bah. ::grumbles:: Guess I'll have to wait until the downloads are done. But the layout looks nice! It's pretty. It's got Kougaiji from Saiyuki on it. ^_^ ::dreamy eyes, drooling::
Oh, and "Every Heart" is a beautiful song. ^_^
This is a test post, and sorta' an intro post. Yeah, the layout looks pretty blah right now. That's 'cause I'm just getting started and haven't really set up anything fancy yet. Give me some time. ^_^ ~Yasei
